Our Purpose
Brown Sugar & Lace Elder Honor and Support Community (BS&L) is a personal ministry founded in 2020 to document, honor, and elevate the voices, wisdom, and life contributions of African American elders. Born out of the isolation of the pandemic, we are a “veritable porch” where intergenerational dialogue flourishes.
